The global tvebiomovies competition (biomovies.tve.org) is back for its 7th year and is giving you the opportunity to show off your creative film making abilities, your climate actions and your Minecraft skills to a global audience. Send your entries by 19 August!
There are four challenges to the competition this year and your film could even be shown at the climate talks at the UN COP22 in Marrakesh in November!
Global Youth Video Competition on Climate Change.
If you are between 18 and 30 and passionate about combating climate change, tell us what you are doing in a compelling 3 minute film. Choose either Climate action, submit a video explaining how your activities have helped to address climate change or Public awareness, submit videos showcasing your efforts to raise public awareness around climate change.
The prize for two lucky winners is a trip to the Marrakesh climate conference in November and the chance to produce daily video blogs and stories for an audience on the web on events, people and activities of interest to young people around the globe.
Short Film Proposal Competition
Do you have an idea for a short film to report or inspire others on the environment? Submit your proposal and you could receive US$300 to help you make the film a reality! We have five categories for you to choose from.
In each one we will commission three films to be made. Choose from five categories: Biodiversity, Forests, Family Farmers, Oceans and Seas, Reusing and Recycling.
The completed films will be shown on YouTube and the one in each category which has the most views will win US$1500!
Connect4Climate sustainable worlds on Minecraft
Have you got fantastic ideas on how you would design the world to be more sustainable, and limit our effects on the climate? Use your Minecraft skills to show us your plans, and three finalists will get to share their worlds with Minecraft users across the globe. The world which gains the most votes from other Minecrafters will win US$1500.

Water is essential to life on earth, yet fresh water is being used faster than it can be replaced. Conservation of water is a big challenge. How do YOU save water? Post your short 30-second video of saving water to Instagram by 19 August 2016 for a chance to win US$100.
