Millions of people around the world are infected with HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. It is believed that half of them are in Africa. In Zimbabwe, it is estimated that 500 000 people are HIV positive and that AIDS is the main cause of child immortality today. In this video, the producers look at the effects of HIV and AIDS on modern Zimbabwean society. Through interviews with health practitioners, traditional healers, youth, commercial sex workers and HIV positive individuals, we see different attitudes towards the disease, and the amount of work needed to curb it from spreading further in the country.
